We will take all reasonable care, in so far as it is in our power to do so, to keep the details of your order and payment secure, but in the absence of negligence on our part we cannot be held liable for any loss you may suffer if a third party procures unauthorised access to any data you provide when accessing or ordering from the Website.
You are deemed to place an order with us by ordering via our online checkout process. As part of our checkout process you will be given the opportunity to check your order and to correct any errors. We will send you an order acknowledgement, detailing the products you have ordered. The fact that you receive an automatic order acknowledgement does not necessarily mean that we will be able to fulfill your order.
Our acceptance of an order takes place when we dispatch the order. We will send you a dispatch confirmation by email. When we dispatch the order the purchase contract will be made, even if your payment has been processed prior to dispatch, unless we have notified you that we do not accept your order or you have cancelled your order.
We may refuse to accept an order:

You are able to correct any errors on your order up to the point on which you enter your payment details and click on “make payment” or “submit” during the ordering process. We will send an e-mail confirmation of the details of your order to the e-mail address you give us. If any of the details appear incorrect on your order, please contact us immediately to correct them.
* You must provide full and accurate payment details (e.g. credit card, debit card, PayPal or gift voucher) at the point of submitting your order.
* Payment will be debited and cleared from your account before your order is dispatched.
* You confirm that the payment method, credit, debit card or PayPal account that you use is yours. All credit/debit cardholders are subject to validation checks and authorisation by the card issuer.
* If the issuer of your payment card refuses to or does not, for any reason, authorise payment to us we will not be liable to you for any delay or non-delivery.
* If we feel it necessary to carry out additional security checks we may ask for additional proof of ID such as your Bank Authorisation code for this transaction, a driving licence or utility bill. You will be contacted either by email or by phone if this is necessary.

We use 2048-bit SSL with 128/256-bit encryption, which means they meet industry standards established by Certification Authority/Browser (CA/B) to encrypt your credit/debit card information when you place an order on our secure server, which means that only we are able to decrypt the information in order to process your transaction.
Prices shown on the website are inclusive of VAT at the appropriate rate. Whilst we try and ensure that all details, descriptions and prices which appear on this Website are accurate, errors may occur. If we discover an error in the price of any goods which you have ordered we will inform you of this as soon as possible and give you the option of reconfirming your order at the correct price or cancelling it. If we are unable to contact you we will treat the order as cancelled. If you cancel and you have already paid for the goods, you will receive a full refund. If you have already received the goods we ask that you send them back to us, upon receipt we will issue a full refund and any costs you in incur in returning the item.
Contract cancellation under the EU Consumer Rights Directive:
You are entitled to cancel this contract if you so wish provided that you exercise your right and notify us no longer than 14 days after the day on which you receive your order.
If you wish to exercise your right to cancel this contract after your order has already been dispatched, we will refund the original purchase price and delivery charge, provided that you have notified us in writing no longer than 14 days after the day on which you receive the order, and that you have taken reasonable care of the products and not used them.
Please note that your right to return Products does NOT apply to products which fall into the following categories unless they are faulty or not as described:
* Made to measure or personalised goods.
* Perishable goods (such as flowers and chocolates).
* Unsealed software, CDs, DVDs.

We monitor our prices and information carefully; however prices and availability of goods may be subject to change without notice. We reserve the right to withdraw or amend the details and price of a product at any time. We will not be liable to you or any third party due to any changes as noted above whether or not that product has been sold.
Please note:
When goods are out of our stock at the time the order is placed, we provide the goods for customers from 3rd party suppliers, which may show a difference in the invoice you receive, but does not affect the price you pay for the goods.
Direct despatch (or drop-shipping) is the term used when the manufacturer/supplier sends an item directly from their Warehouse to you and not from our own Warehouse.
As a result arrival times will vary, and it will be sent separately to any other product(s) in your order. You may not receive the usual Bazaarist despatch email.
Important notice:
Where possible items are sent from our stock but also can be sent directly from our 3rd party suppliers. In this case, orders will be fulfilled by us or by 3rd party suppliers at our discretion.
Therefore, on occasions our products may come with a third party logo on the packaging. By placing an order you are agreeing that your delivery information may be shared with our suppliers to fulfill your order. It will not be shared in any other way, your details are 100% secure. If you are not happy with any of these things then please do not buy from us.
1. Gift vouchers must be redeemed within 1 year of purchase and cannot be set off against Products that have already been paid for.
2. If the value of the order exceeds the value of a gift voucher, the balance must be paid by credit or debit card, or via PayPal.
3. Unused balances will be held within the recipients voucher for the remainder of the 1 year period referred to in clause 1. At the end of that 1 year period the voucher (and any credit remaining on it) will expire.
4. Gift vouchers have a cash redemption value of 0.001p.
5. Vouchers can only be used for in-stock Products and not for pre-ordered Products.
6. Vouchers cannot be used to purchase Products which are already subject to other promotional offers.
* If you have received a promotional voucher from us, only one such promotional voucher code can be redeemed per order.
* Promotional voucher codes are issued from time to time at our discretion. We reserve the right to cancel promotional voucher codes at any time without notice and without giving a reason.
* Only one promotional voucher code can be redeemed against any single order. If there is an unused balance of discount or credit remaining on the promotional voucher code, that balance will be extinguished and cannot be redeemed with any other orders.
* Promotional voucher codes cannot be re-used.
* Promotional voucher codes have a cash redemption value of 0.001p and are not transferable.
* Promotional voucher codes may not be used in conjunction with any other offer, discount or promotion.
* Promotional voucher codes may not be sold. For the avoidance of doubt, this includes auctions and other online sales.
* Certain Products cannot be purchased with promotional voucher codes. Such Products are clearly marked on their respective Product pages.
* The issuing of promotional voucher codes may be restricted (for example, one per email address).

We offer three levels of service for our UK customers - please note these are estimated delivery times only and are based on working days:
We will not know how we will post your order until your order has been placed; this is because it will depend on the item size and combined weight. We use a combination of Royal Mail, My Hermes, DPD, Yodel…and others as our couriers and have various delivery options including guaranteed next day delivery.
All orders placed before 1:30pm will usually be dispatched the same day (Monday – Friday Only) subject to security checks. We will use the most appropriate method of dispatch depending on the size, weight and value of your order. This may include a courier service which requires a signature on delivery. For orders dispatched via Free Delivery please wait for 10 working days before contacting our Customer Service Team for help if your parcel has not yet arrived. Please note, if you state a safe place and your parcel is stolen in the interim, we can not be held responsible for any loss incurred nor can compensation be claimed by the courier. You take full responsibility for stating a safe place if you are unable to accept your parcel or a neighbor can not be nominated.
You may cancel your order for any reason provided that you notify us in writing via email, no longer than 7 working days after the day you receive your order. If your order has been dispatched you will be required to return the order to us and you will be responsible for the cost. We suggest that you use a secure delivery method that requires a signature upon receipt and provides you with a proof of posting. Upon receipt of the returned goods a refund, including the original delivery charge, will be credited within 30 days to the facility used to place the order. To cancel your order please contact us. You will become the owner of the goods you have ordered once they have been delivered to you and they will be held at your own risk. You have a statutory duty to take reasonable care of goods whilst held in your possession and until such time as returned goods are received by us. Please ensure that any goods being returned are packaged appropriately. We will not be liable for any loss or destruction of goods, once delivered to you. None of these terms and conditions affects your statutory rights as a consumer.
In the unlikely event that your item arrives with a fault, please follow our Returns Process below. Please return your item(s) to us within the 7-day slot and we will act immediately to organise a refund, replacement or exchange for you. We will also supply you with our FREE Returns label, so it won’t cost you a penny to send it back to us.
We do our very best to ensure that your parcels arrive safely and in superb condition. Sometimes though, accidents do happen. If your product(s) does arrive in poor condition in any way, please follow our Returns Process below. Please return your item(s) to us within the 7-day slot and we will offer a refund, replacement or exchange for you as a matter of urgency. Since The Bazaarist principally deals with the UK and EU market, we cannot guarantee that it accords with local laws of any other countries (though we will try to make sure it does).
Under current UK legislation it is an offence to sell knives and certain bladed or pointed articles to persons under 18 years of age. When purchasing these products (or other age-restricted products) we will ask you to confirm that you are of the age legally required. Where payment is made by you using methods other than Visa/Mastercard there may be a delay to your order while we verify your age and you may be required to send us proof of age.
